About The Position

The Club Manager directs the management team in all facility operations, ensuring asset protection, inventory control, member service, and associate safety. They ensure compliance with company policies and procedures and communicate company direction. This role drives membership and sales growth by visiting business members, building relationships, motivating the sales team, and educating associates on the value of membership and merchandise quality. The manager increases the quality of the member experience by ensuring appropriate service levels and effective merchandise presentation, including pricing, signing, and inventory management. They drive the financial performance of the facility by achieving budgeted sales, membership, wages, and expenses, leading the management team in expense control, and creating plans to improve financial performance. The Club Manager oversees budget creation and participates in forecasting by analyzing economic trends and community needs. They ensure compliance with company and legal policies, procedures, and regulations by analyzing reports, implementing controls, overseeing reviews, developing action plans, and guiding the management team on executing company programs and strategic initiatives. This role also initiates and participates in community outreach programs, encourages associate involvement in the community, and acts as the company representative. They present the company's perspective to external organizations and champion company-sponsored programs, events, and sustainability efforts. The Club Manager provides direction and guidance on member service approaches and techniques, resolves member complaints, and assists with member service as needed. They provide supervision and development opportunities for management and hourly associates by hiring, training, mentoring, assigning duties, providing recognition, and promoting a culture of belonging. They recruit qualified associates to meet staffing needs and achieve company growth potential. The Club Manager upholds the company's Open Door Policy by meeting with associates, listening to concerns, researching issues, and providing resolutions. They proactively seek associate comments and concerns by meeting with associates in their work areas. This role oversees and enforces food safety standards, cold chain compliance, and food merchandise quality by evaluating various aspects of stocked merchandise and ensuring fresh areas meet company expectations and facility budgets. The role emphasizes respecting individuals by building high-performing teams, embracing differences, creating a workplace of belonging, and empowering associates to thrive.
