About The Position

The Club Manager directs the management team in all facility operations, ensuring asset protection, inventory control, member service, and associate safety. They are responsible for ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures and communicating operational direction. This role drives membership and sales growth by visiting business members, building relationships, and motivating the sales team. The manager also enhances the member experience through appropriate service levels and effective merchandise presentation, and drives financial performance by achieving budgeted sales, controlling expenses, and overseeing budget creation and forecasting. Additionally, the Club Manager ensures compliance with legal policies, oversees safety and quality assurance, and champions company programs and sustainability efforts. They provide direction on member service, resolve complaints, and offer supervision and development opportunities for management and hourly associates, including recruitment. The manager upholds the Open Door Policy, oversees food safety standards, and promotes a culture of respect, integrity, and excellence. This includes attracting and retaining talent, empowering associates, and acting with integrity by modeling company values and supporting sustainability goals. The role emphasizes serving customers and members by delivering results, adapting to shopping behaviors, and making data-driven decisions. It also involves continuous improvement, embracing new technologies, and supporting change.

Responsibilities

  • Directs management team in all Facility operations, ensuring asset protection, inventory control, Member service, and Associate safety.
  • Drives membership and sales growth in a Facility by visiting Business Members and potential Members.
  • Increases quality of Member experience by ensuring appropriate service levels and effective merchandise presentation.
  • Drives the financial performance of the Facility by ensuring that budgeted sales, membership, wages, and other expenses are achieved.
  • Ensures compliance with Company and legal policies, procedures, and regulations for a Facility.
  • Initiates, directs, and participates in community outreach programs.
  • Presents the Company's perspective to various external organizations.
  • Provides direction and guidance to members of management and hourly associates on proper member service approaches and techniques.
  • Provides supervision and development opportunities for members of management and hourly Associates in the Facility.
  • Recruits qualified Associates to meet staffing needs and achieve Company growth potential.
  • Upholds the Company's Open Door Policy.
  • Oversees and enforces the execution of food safety standards, cold chain compliance, and food merchandise quality.
  • Ensures the fresh areas forecast for production, onhand supplies, and current in stock are in line with Companies expectations and the Facility budgets.
