Requirements

  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace.

Nice To Haves

  • 1-2 years of relevant experience is an asset
  • Food Handling experience is an asset

Responsibilities

  • Uses suggestive selling techniques to sell beverage services and to promote other services of the hotel.
  • Coordinates with the Front Desk the number of Guests booked within the Club Floor.
  • Posts and files all charges to guest accounts as required with POS system.
  • Follows procedures to ensure safe food handling
  • Communicates with Culinary Team and Executive Chef with all food & beverage requirements.
  • Set up & maintain buffet services at all times.
  • Stock and replenishes supplies and inventory as required during and prior to end of each shift.
  • Ensure Par levels are maintained
  • Ensure cleanliness of the Lounge at all times.
  • Attends department and daily standup meetings as required.
  • Reports any unusual occurrences or requests to the manager or assistant manager.
  • Knows all safety and emergency procedures. Is aware of accident prevention policies.
  • Maintains the cleanliness and neatness of the Club Lounge Area .
  • Understands that business demands sometimes change make it necessary to change as required.
  • Know the Local surrounding area with Tourist attractions, businesses that Guest may be interested in.
  • Uses proper telephone etiquette.
