This position involves responding promptly to guest and departmental requests, preparing and transporting cleaning supplies, entering guest rooms following proper procedures, replacing amenities and linens, making beds, cleaning bathrooms, removing trash and room service items, checking appliance functionality, organizing rooms, dusting and polishing furnishings, vacuuming carpets, and performing floor care. The role also requires adherence to company policies, safety procedures, and reporting of any maintenance issues or accidents. It includes welcoming and assisting guests according to company standards, maintaining professionalism, and ensuring guest satisfaction. Physical requirements include lifting objects up to 25 pounds without assistance and over 25 pounds with assistance, pushing and pulling a loaded housekeeping cart, reaching, bending, twisting, pulling, stooping, standing, sitting, kneeling, or walking for extended periods, and manipulating objects with fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination. Reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors are also part of the role.
