About The Position

The Ooltewah Club, managed by Bobby Jones Links, is hiring for a Housekeeper. The Ooltewah Club offers year-round outdoor activities and family fun, featuring an 18 hole championship course, a full driving range, a short game facility, a Junior Olympic-sized swimming pool, two lighted tennis courts, and four lighted pickleball courts. The club debuted a newly decorated clubhouse in 2019, which anchors the 150+ acre property located in a very high growth area of Chattanooga.

Requirements

Ability to perform basic repairs and operate tools or equipment used in routine maintenance.
Sense of urgency for pertinent matters.
Knowledge of chemical safety.
Customer service oriented.
Prolonged periods standing.
Must be able to lift, bend, stoop, climb, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds at a time.

Responsibilities

Maintains a financial dialogue with the club General Manager about housekeeping and clubhouse supplies, paper products, linens, etc.
Works closely with the various Department Heads to understand the event schedule.
Low dust and high dusts.
Cleans bathrooms.
Vacuums carpets and mops floors.
Sweeps patio areas and dusts patio furniture.
Empties all wastebaskets and ashtrays.
Cleans and polishes brass.
Washes inside and outside of windows.
Performs light repairs and maintenance such as replacing light fixtures or unclogging pipes.
Launders any linen as requested by swim, tennis, or fitness departments.
