About The Position

As a Cloud Systems Engineer at West Shore Home, you will evaluate, implement, and maintain our cloud management platforms, communication platforms, system optimization, backup and retention products and other company SaaS platforms including, M365, Azure Infrastructure, Microsoft Endpoint Manager, and ancillary systems.

Requirements

  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without requiring current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. The company does not and will not sponsor employment visas.
  • Minimum 3 years’ progressive experience in Microsoft Azure and M365 platforms and cloud-based backup systems.
  • Previous experience identifying and improving Azure/M365 configurations, including Teams, Exchange, SharePoint, and other MS platforms for proper security, performance, and scalability in accordance with company's standards and procedures.
  • Demonstrated ability implementing enhancements to existing application workloads to support migrations to Azure platform, deep understanding of Azure security best practices and governance policies, and services utilizing best practices.
  • Good understanding of GRC controls and methods to satisfy regulatory compliance.
  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States at the time of their application on a full-time basis. The Company will not sponsor applicants for work visas.

  • Azure certifications (AZ-104, AZ-305, or equivalent) preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Design, deploy, and manage scalable and secure Azure infrastructure solutions and M365 projects and platforms.
  • Lead the automation of infrastructure using tools like Bicep, ARM templates, or Terraform.
  • Manage Microsoft 365 Groups lifecycle governance, including group expiration policies, ownership requirements, and access reviews to maintain a clean and compliant tenant environment.
  • Design and enforce SharePoint retention policies aligned with organizational compliance requirements, ensuring defensible data lifecycle management across M365 tenants.
  • Configure and maintain deployment profiles, enabling zero-touch provisioning for new device onboarding and reducing IT setup time significantly.
  • Build and deploy Intune configuration profiles for Windows, iOS, and Android devices, enforcing security baselines, BitLocker encryption, and conditional access policies across the enterprise.
  • Generated Intune compliance and device health reports to support audit readiness, executive reporting, and identification of non-compliant endpoints requiring remediation.
  • Strong experience with Azure IaaS, PaaS, networking, storage, and identity services.
  • Proficiency in scripting (PowerShell, CLI) and infrastructure-as-code practices.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows in Azure.
  • Monitoring and alerting with tools like Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Sentinel.
