About The Position

This role involves standing up and running servers that mission applications depend on. The engineer will build and troubleshoot AWS servers and support Linux, UNIX, and Windows systems for a federal national-security mission. The position is full-time and located on-site in McLean, VA. U.S. citizenship is required.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
• AWS server builds and troubleshooting
• Linux, UNIX and Windows administration
• Networking and security fundamentals
• Clear communication with technical and non-technical teams
• U.S. citizenship

• AWS certifications
• Degree in CS, IS, Engineering or a related field

Responsibilities

• Build and manage servers in a commercial cloud (AWS) environment
• Diagnose and resolve AWS and server issues
• Administer Linux, UNIX, Windows and mainframe systems
• Assess networking impacts and apply security standards
• Plan jointly with developers and track requirements
