About The Position

Seeking a Cloud Specialist that will develop and modify scalable architecture to support applications and infrastructure-as-a-service (IAAS) and platform as-a-service (PAAS) platforms. The Cloud Specialist will also be expected to ensure the security and compliance of cloud environments, including data protection and privacy. Move existing on-premises applications, workloads, and databases to public cloud platforms safely. Monitor and analyze cloud infrastructure performance to identify and resolve issues proactively. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize cloud-based environments for performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness. Design controls and processes that utilize available audit tools. Maintain up-to-date and extensive knowledge of cloud products and technology.

Requirements

• Proficiency in major public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) Required 6+ years
• Experience with automation and scripting languages (Python, Bash, or PowerShell) Required 6+ years
• Understanding of cloud networking, virtual private clouds (VPCs,) and firewalls Required 6+ years
• Advanced VM management, Windows Server, Active Directory, and Linux Administration. Required 6+ years

Nice To Haves

• Experience working with AWS or MS Azure.
• Prior government or regulated industry experience.
