About The Position

Oracle Government, Defense, and Intelligence is looking for a Cloud Solution Engineer to join our Federal Civilian Cloud Solution Engineering team. In this role, you will work alongside senior Oracle cloud architects, solution engineers, account teams, and federal customers to help drive mission success through the adoption, modernization, and effective use of OCI services across mission-critical government environments. This role is designed for someone earlier in their career who wants to build deep technical expertise in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure while supporting some of the most important public sector missions in the country. You will not be expected to know everything on day one. Instead, you will work with experienced Oracle engineers and architects who will help you grow your skills in cloud infrastructure, databases, application modernization, networking, security, analytics, engineered systems, and AI-enabled services. You will gain hands-on experience supporting federal customers as they move from opportunity development to cloud adoption, implementation, and operations. The role offers a path to grow into more senior cloud architecture and presales engineering responsibilities over time.

Requirements

• Early in their cloud engineering career
• Looking for an opportunity to grow while working on large-scale government modernization programs
• Enjoy solving technical problems, learning new technologies, and working directly with experienced engineers and customer teams
• Candidates must be based in the greater Washington, DC area.
