About The Position

Captivation Software is seeking a mid-level cloud software engineer to assist with daily responsibilities. The position allows for 50% telework. The company describes its engineers as developing and innovating solutions in support of the mission to protect the country. This position is open to direct hires only; candidates from third-party staffing or recruiting firms will not be considered.

Requirements

• Must currently hold a Top Secret/SCI U.S. Government security clearance with a favorable polygraph.
• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Within the last five years, at least three years of programming experience with one or more of Java, C, or C++.
• Within the last three years, at least one year of experience designing and developing applications in a Windows or UNIX/Linux operating environment.
• A bachelor's degree in computer science or a related discipline; alternatively, an associate's degree in computer science or a related discipline plus two additional years of programming experience; or five years of programming experience may substitute for a bachelor's degree.
• Required skills: Java, AWS, Linux, and Hadoop.
