About The Position

Captivation Software is hiring a mid-level Cloud Software Engineer to assist with daily responsibilities. The position allows for 50% telework and supports the mission to protect the country. The role is open to direct hires only; candidates from third-party staffing or recruiting firms will not be considered. Candidates must currently hold a Top Secret/SCI U.S. Government security clearance with a favorable polygraph and must be U.S. citizens.

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. citizen and currently hold a Top Secret/SCI U.S. Government security clearance with a favorable polygraph.
• Within the last five years, at least three years of programming experience using one or more of Java, C, or C++.
• Within the last three years, at least one year of experience designing and developing applications in a Windows or UNIX/Linux operating environment.
• A bachelor's degree in computer science or a related discipline; alternatively, an associate's degree in computer science or a related discipline plus two additional years of programming experience, or five years of programming experience may substitute for a bachelor's degree.
• Required skills: Java, AWS, Linux, and Hadoop.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily responsibilities as a cloud software engineer.
• Design and develop applications in a Windows or UNIX/Linux operating environment.
