About The Position

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Software and Automation Engineer with deep expertise in Go (Golang) and Google Cloud Platform (GCP). In this role, you will write high-performance automation software, build internal development tools, and orchestrate robust cloud infrastructure. Your core focus will be eliminating operational friction, optimizing system reliability, and scaling our cloud native services.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience).
Strong proficiency in Go (Golang), including concurrency patterns, standard library tools, and writing cloud-native APIs.
Proven hands-on experience with core GCP services (Compute Engine, GKE, Cloud Run, Cloud Functions, IAM, and Networking).
Strong experience writing modular, production ready Terraform configurations.
Deep understanding of Docker containerization and advanced Kubernetes orchestration.
Familiarity with microservices architecture, REST/gRPC interfaces, and distributed systems.

Google Cloud Certified Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer or Professional Cloud Architect is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

Design and write clean, efficient, and maintainable automation software, microservices, and custom APIs using Go.
Provision and manage scalable, reliable Google Cloud environments using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform.
Manage and optimize application lifecycles within Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) and Cloud Run.
Build and maintain automated continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines via Cloud Build, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
Implement telemetry and observability hooks into Go applications using GCP Cloud Observability (Logging and Monitoring).
Enforce strict security boundaries using GCP IAM, Cloud KMS, and automated dependency vulnerability scanning.
Debug complex, distributed cloud systems and optimize Go runtimes for cost and performance efficiency.
Participate in gathering requirements for specific modules and ensure clear, structured documentation.
Work across multiple business processes to capture linkages, dependencies, and required changes.
Facilitate creation of application solution designs for a specific module under the guidance of the Project Manager, ensuring alignment with business requirements and technical standards.
Review the developed codes, resolve technical queries of the team for the assigned module and create consistent replication patterns, to ensure that the developed code aligns with the project standards.
Collaborate with project managers through all phases of software development life cycle.
Perform root-cause analysis to identify and troubleshoot recurring technical issues.
Modify software codes to resolve errors, adapt to new hardware and software, enhance performance, and upgrade interfaces.
Collaborate with technical teams to validate configurations, facilitate integration of new applications, and address dependencies during deployment.
Prepare user training documents and related frameworks to ensure smooth adoption new applications and minimize transition risks.
