About The Position

This role focuses on automating security measures within the cloud environment. The engineer will be responsible for developing code to automatically fix misconfigurations and exposed assets, writing scripts for continuous auditing, and acting as a high-level escalation point for security incidents. The core technical stack includes AWS Lambda (Python, Go, or Node.js), AWS EventBridge, AWS Config Rules, and advanced IAM policy writing.

Responsibilities

• Code automated, programmatic remediation workflows to immediately neutralize misconfigured or exposed cloud assets.
• Author custom configuration rules and advanced compliance scripts to continually audit the cloud environment.
• Serve as the Tier 3 escalation point for complex cloud infrastructure vulnerabilities or active security incidents.
