About The Position

At GDIT, people are our differentiator. We are seeking a Cloud Program Manager to lead our team supporting the Department of Health and Human Services Office of Inspector General (HHS OIG) Cloud Modernization initiative. As Cloud Program Manager, you will drive enterprise-wide modernization efforts, manage task order operations, and ensure project success within a multi-cloud hybrid environment. Your leadership will directly impact the agency’s digital transformation and operational efficiency. NOTE: This position is contingent upon contract award.

Requirements

  • US Citizen (must be able to provide proof of US Citizenship at time of offer accept)
  • No clearance required; ability to obtain HHS suitability if needed.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or Program Management Professional (PgMP) certification
  • ITIL certification
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Business Administration, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field.
  • 15+ years of IT experience
  • 10 years overseeing enterprise cloud modernization projects.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing large-scale, multi-team programs within federal environments.
  • Responsible for programs(s) with annual revenues of $10 million and above.
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Collaborative mindset and commitment to continuous improvement.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with HHS or similar federal agencies.
  • Strong familiarity with Agile DevSecOps methodologies.
  • Proven track record of successful change management and organizational transformation.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage all aspects of task order execution, including oversight of contractor and subcontractor activities.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for official communication with Government stakeholders.
  • Develop, implement, and update Task Order Management Plans, Quality Management Plans, and transition strategies.
  • Coordinate project governance, risk management, and reporting mechanisms to ensure program success.
  • Facilitate regular status meetings, briefings, and deliverables review with Government stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with security, privacy, and training requirements for all team members.
