About The Position

As a Cloud Platform Engineer on the Runway team, you will design, build, and maintain infrastructure and developer tooling that powers GitLab’s engineering organization. The role advances a Kubernetes-based platform, matures GitOps practices, and expands infrastructure as code adoption. It combines hands-on infrastructure, automation, and developer experience work to help application teams deploy and operate their services. The Runway team builds and maintains infrastructure and developer tooling for GitLab’s engineering organization, centering its work on a Kubernetes-based platform, GitOps delivery practices, and infrastructure as code. The team collaborates with application teams to onboard services and improve developer productivity through documentation, runbooks, and self-service tooling. GitLab’s roles are remote, though some may have location-based eligibility requirements.
