About The Position

The RHTP Systems Cloud Platform Engineer designs, provisions, configures, operates, secures, monitors, and supports cloud infrastructure for the North Carolina Rural Health Transformation Program (RHTP) Region 3 environment. The position primarily supports Microsoft Azure and related cloud platforms, including infrastructure for Microsoft Fabric, Power Platform, application integration, data services, identity, networking, monitoring, security, and business continuity and disaster recovery. The engineer collaborates with enterprise architecture, information security, application development, data and analytics teams, Microsoft, IBM, and other technology partners to ensure solutions are secure, scalable, supportable, and aligned with Vaya Partners technology standards. The role participates in implementing the RHTP technology platform and transferring knowledge from implementation partners, building Vaya Partners’ internal ability to operate and support the environment. The position ensures cloud infrastructure, configurations, documentation, operational procedures, and change-management practices comply with organizational security, privacy, data-governance, and technology standards. It requires access to confidential healthcare information or protected health information (PHI), training on applicable confidentiality laws, compliance with those laws, and signing a confidentiality statement. The employee must be able to come into the office as needed; the role has a remote option and is available at Vaya Partners North Carolina locations.
