About The Position

The Associate Cloud Operations Engineer is responsible for maintaining, monitoring, and optimizing cloud infrastructure. This role will focus on ensuring the reliability and performance of cloud environments. A great collaborator, curious, and a fast learner with strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, Go, etc.).
• Familiarity with cloud monitoring tools (CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, etc.).
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab, etc.).
• Strong understanding of cloud networking and security principles.
• Excellent presentation skills in order to communicate with management.

Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor cloud infrastructure and services.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in the cloud environment.
• Automate operational tasks using scripting and cloud-native tools.
• Perform cloud security audits and ensure adherence to security best practices.
• Implement cloud backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity strategies.
• Work closely with development teams to integrate CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with the cloud operations and architecture teams to automate operational tasks.
• Work with the cloud solutions architect to provide technical guidance, design specification and solution level support for cloud connectivity, integration, and collaboration.
