In this position, you will be working at the cutting edge of cloud computing, C++/Python development, and advanced MD simulation techniques. Join our growing Cloud team responsible for deployment and management of our cloud-native SaaS platform for computer-aided drug design, Orion. Tasks include managing individual installations of Orion, assisting internal developers with AWS issues, handling service desk requests. Additionally, you will participate in a rotating on-call schedule, serving as the primary point of contact for service desk requests by triaging, resolving, or escalating issues within established service levels. In addition to collaborating with our backend, infrastructure, frontend, and scientific support teams, you will interact with fortune 500 companies leveraging Orion for their scientific needs to create an outstanding support experience.
Requirements
- 1+ year of relevant experience
- Proactive, go-getter mentality and a positive attitude
- Strong organizational and problem-solving capacity
- Customer service skills
- Familiarity with scripting (Bash)
- Experience with Linux system administration
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Amazon Web Services
- Experience with CI/CD frameworks
- Familiarity with programming languages (Python)
