About The Position
As part of the Continuous Operations Release Environment (CORE) team, the Junior Cloud Operations and Customer Support Engineer delivers reliable, cost-effective AWS cloud solutions to enterprise clients. This role balances hands-on infrastructure maintenance and real-time application monitoring with high-touch technical customer support in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- U.S. Citizenship required.
- 2+ years of IT experience centered on AWS cloud operations, Linux administration, and technical support.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.
- Hands-on proficiency with AWS services and enterprise Linux distributions (RedHat, CentOS).
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum workflows and CI/CD tools (GitLab CI, Nexus).
- Strong analytical problem-solving skills with the ability to communicate complex technical details to clients and team members clearly.
Responsibilities
- Proactively monitor, maintain, and optimize AWS cloud environments to ensure high availability, performance, and scalability.
- Provide tier-level technical support, troubleshoot customer issues, and deliver responsive service for cloud users.
- Track application performance and supporting infrastructure metrics to rapidly identify, report, and resolve availability or scaling bottlenecks.
- Partner with engineering, DevOps, and delivery teams to assist clients with enterprise application consumption in the cloud.
