Our work depends on an Integration Developer joining our team to support the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services remotely. Work Visa sponsorship will not be provided. As an Integration Developer supporting CMS, you will be trusted to develop Python scripts on Amazon Web Services (AWS) for a Proof of Concept (POC), configuring and integrating services that will support CMS’s goal of replacing “shared systems” with near real-time abilities.

Requirements

  • 4+ Years of hands-on advanced experience developing Python code.
  • Hands-on experience setting up an Integration environment using AWS Glue, S3, and RDB.
  • Hands-on experience with implementing system integrations and interfaces.
  • Hands-on experience with SQL, data seeding, data mapping and data validation.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS Lambda development.
  • Hands-on experience with PySpark.
  • Experience with AWS tools and applications, including the following: AWS AppSync, AWS MSK (Kafka), and Amazon EventBridge.
  • Must be able to obtain CMS Public Trust clearance.
  • Must have lived in the United States at least three (3) out of the last five (5) years.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Medicare Part A, Medicare Part B, and DME.
  • Experience reading Docker outputs.
  • Experience with Fargate.
  • Understanding queueing mechanisms such as SQS and/or SMS.
  • Experience with COBOL.
  • Ability to manage time effectively, to work under time pressure, to meet schedules and deadlines, to multi-task, to plan, organize and prioritize work assignments and pay close attention to detail.
