About The Position

Our client, a growing educational and technology organization, is seeking an experienced Cloud Engineering Instructor to teach and mentor students on cloud computing, cloud infrastructure, deployment strategies, and practical approaches to becoming successful Cloud Engineers. This role is ideal for an experienced cloud professional who is passionate about teaching and sharing real-world industry knowledge with aspiring cloud engineers, DevOps professionals, and IT infrastructure specialists.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cloud Computing, Software Engineering, or related field required.
Minimum of 4–5 years of practical experience in cloud engineering, cloud infrastructure management, DevOps, system administration, or related technology fields.
Strong understanding of cloud architecture, networking, virtualization, storage, and infrastructure management.
Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Familiarity with cloud deployment tools, automation technologies, infrastructure-as-code, and monitoring systems.
Knowledge of scripting or programming languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell is an advantage.
Excellent communication, presentation, and mentoring skills.
Ability to explain technical concepts clearly and engage students effectively.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
Must be legally authorized to work in the USA or Canada.

Nice To Haves

Cloud certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Azure Certifications, or Google Cloud Certifications are highly desirable.
Experience delivering technical training, workshops, or mentoring programs.
Familiarity with DevOps tools, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, or cloud security best practices.
Experience deploying and managing cloud-based production environments.

Responsibilities

Deliver engaging training sessions on cloud computing concepts, cloud infrastructure, and deployment best practices.
Teach students how to design, deploy, manage, and optimize cloud-based systems and applications.
Guide students on cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Share practical experiences, case studies, and real-world cloud engineering project insights with students.
Teach students cloud architecture principles, virtualization, storage, networking, security, and scalability concepts.
Train students on cloud deployment strategies, monitoring tools, automation, and infrastructure management.
Develop instructional materials, presentations, practical labs, and hands-on cloud engineering exercises.
Facilitate workshops, live demonstrations, and project-based learning sessions.
Mentor students on certification pathways, technical problem-solving, and cloud engineering career development.
Stay updated on cloud technologies, DevOps practices, automation tools, and emerging infrastructure trends.
