About The Position
We are seeking a skilled Cloud Engineer to support a large-scale Facets migration project within the healthcare industry. This role will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting cloud-based applications and integrations, while ensuring performance, scalability, and security. The ideal candidate will bring a strong software engineering background and experience working in agile environments.
Requirements
- Experience in cloud engineering or software development within a cloud environment
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) in an Agile environment
- Experience developing APIs and integrating with enterprise systems
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages (such as Java, Python, or .NET)
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work across technical and business teams
- Experience supporting healthcare systems or payer environments
- Exposure to Facets or similar healthcare platforms
- Experience working on system migration or transformation projects
- Knowledge of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization
- Familiarity with data integration, ETL processes, or data pipelines
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain cloud-based applications and services supporting healthcare systems and Facets migration efforts
- Perform full software development lifecycle activities, including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment
- Develop and maintain APIs for integration with enterprise data sources and third-party systems
- Analyze business and technical requirements to deliver scalable and efficient solutions
- Identify gaps in existing systems and recommend improvements or enhancements
- Assist in defining and evolving product and system architecture within a cloud environment
- Implement security best practices, including threat prevention mechanisms and secure coding standards
- Participate in code reviews to ensure quality, performance, and security compliance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including application development, infrastructure, and business stakeholders
- Support system integration and migration activities related to the Facets platform
