About The Position

Navitas is seeking a highly skilled Cloud Engineer to design, deploy, and support modern cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, OCI, and hybrid environments. This role is central to our cloud modernization and digital transformation initiatives, enabling secure, scalable, and resilient platforms for mission‑critical applications. The ideal candidate brings strong technical expertise, a passion for automation, and hands‑on experience operating in Microsoft 365 GCC and Azure Government environments.

Requirements

  • Experience with Terraform, Bicep, ARM templates, or CloudFormation.
  • Familiarity with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, AKS, EKS, OKE).
  • Understanding of Zero Trust principles and cloud security frameworks.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across networking, identity, and cloud service integrations.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Architect, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure and services across AWS, Azure, OCI, and hybrid environments.
  • Implement automation and Infrastructure‑as‑Code (IaC) solutions to streamline provisioning, configuration, and operational workflows.
  • Lead cloud modernization efforts, including refactoring legacy systems, optimizing workloads, and improving platform reliability.
  • Ensure cloud platforms meet stringent security, compliance, performance, and availability requirements.
  • Support cloud migration activities, including assessment, planning, execution, and post‑migration optimization.
  • Build and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to ensure proactive visibility into system health and performance.
  • Contribute to disaster recovery and business continuity planning, including backup strategies, failover design, and resilience testing.
  • Collaborate with DevSecOps teams to integrate security, automation, and CI/CD practices into cloud environments.
  • Apply ALM best practices using solutions, environments, and pipelines to support consistent, governed deployment processes.
  • Operate effectively within Microsoft 365 GCC and Azure Government environments, ensuring compliance with federal and state security standards.
