Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a Cloud Engineer or similar role.
  • Proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, Oracle, or Google Cloud.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance.
  • 8+ years of solid software engineering experience.
  • Strong Kubernetes / Amazon EKS experience, including building performance-tuned clusters at scale.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS GovCloud, specifically IL5 and IL6 environments.
  • Application performance tuning at scale (gaming/simulation workloads ideal).
  • Well-Architected Framework alignment.

Nice To Haves

  • AWS Solutions Architect Professional certification or similar.

Responsibilities

  • Design scalable and secure cloud architectures.
  • Implement and deploy cloud solutions.
  • Stay current with industry trends.
  • Troubleshoot complex issues.
  • Communicate effectively and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Develop cDSO (DoD DevSecOps) pipelines.
  • Utilize Infrastructure-as-Code with Terraform and Helm in disconnected environments.
  • Tune application performance at scale.
