About The Position

E-INFOSOL LLC is seeking a highly motivated Cloud Developer to be a full-time employee in Washington, DC to join our innovative and customer solutions focused team. The Cloud Developer is responsible for developing cloud service delivery models and architectural framework to enable Platform as a Service (PaaS), Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Software as a Service (SaaS), and Data as a Service (DaaS). This role requires the ability to implement automation for cloud resources using DevSecOps best practices.

Requirements

Active Top-Secret clearance with capability to obtain SCI/CI Poly if needed to meet contract requirements.
Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or a related field of study.
Minimum 5+ years of experience in a similar position with a large organization.
Proven experience in cloud architecture and cloud service delivery models.
Strong analytical skills to provide recommendations for cloud migration and deployment.
Experience in developing strategies for cloud service failure/recovery and cost optimization.
Ability to manage cloud policies and ensure secure cloud environments.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.

Nice To Haves

Proficient in DevSecOps practices and automation tools – GitLab.
Proficient in container orchestration and security practices.
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

Responsibilities

Develop and implement cloud applications and migrate existing on-premises applications to the cloud.
Analyze applications and provide recommendations for platform migration, deployment into a cloud environment, and optimization.
Provide strategies for failure/recovery, cost optimization, and benefit analyses for cloud, cloud-agnostic, and on-premises services.
Manage policies for cloud service usage, new technology requests, and ensure the establishment of a secure cloud environment.
Ensure appropriate availability and uptime design for cloud services.
Work independently to design and develop new software products or major enhancements to existing cloud software.
Debug cloud stacks and manage cloud infrastructure.
