About The Position

TEKsystems is seeking a Cloud Developer to support Air Force Special Operations Command (AFSOC) in Mary Esther, FL. This position plays a critical role in designing, developing, deploying, and sustaining secure cloud-based solutions that support mission-critical command and control operations. The selected candidate will work within a highly integrated team environment alongside government, prime contractor, and technical stakeholders to modernize enterprise systems, improve operational resilience, and deliver secure cloud capabilities supporting AFSOC missions worldwide. The Cloud Developer will be responsible for building and maintaining scalable AWS cloud solutions while supporting infrastructure automation, deployment pipelines, cloud modernization efforts, and secure application hosting. This individual will contribute to all phases of the cloud development lifecycle, including architecture, implementation, testing, deployment, optimization, and ongoing production support. The role requires hands-on experience with AWS cloud services, Infrastructure as Code, containerization, and DevSecOps practices to deliver high-performing and secure cloud environments. The successful candidate will help troubleshoot complex cloud-related issues, implement automation solutions, maintain security compliance, and support cloud-hosted applications across development, test, and production environments. This position directly supports AFSOC's mission by enabling cloud-based Command, Control, and Mission Systems (C2MS) that leverage IL5 and IL6 AWS environments, global command-and-control networks, and mission applications utilized in both garrison and deployed operations. Requirements

Active Secret Clearance
U.S. Citizenship
Bachelor's degree in a related technical field or equivalent experience
5+ years of IT experience
At least 2 years supporting enterprise-level cloud environments in production
Strong hands-on experience with AWS services such as Lambda, EC2, S3, RDS, and AWS CLI
Infrastructure as Code experience leveraging CloudFormation and Ansible
Experience building and supporting CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, and GitHub Actions
Docker containerization experience
Linux (RHEL) and Windows administration experience
Scripting using Python and Bash
Experience supporting DevSecOps environments and secure cloud architectures
Experience with Identity and Access Management technologies such as IAM, Active Directory, PKI, and Keycloak
Ability to troubleshoot cloud applications across development, test, and production environments
Ability to maintain compliance with RMF, STIG, and SCAP security requirements
Experience with GitHub and GitLab version control
Strong documentation skills
Ability to solve complex technical problems
