Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 6+ years of IT experience, with at least 3 years focused on cloud architecture and design
• Experience with IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, and hybrid cloud environments
• Familiarity with AWS, Azure, GCP, or similar cloud platforms (certifications preferred)
• Strong understanding of cloud security principles and compliance frameworks
• Proven experience with DevOps practices and infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
• Excellent communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences
• Must have an active TS/SCI Clearance with Polygraph

Nice To Haves

• Cloud certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or Google Cloud Professional Architect
• Experience migrating mission-critical applications to the cloud
• Knowledge of federal security and compliance frameworks (e.g., FedRAMP, NIST)
• Background working with multi-disciplinary government or IC teams

Responsibilities

• Design and implement secure, scalable, and cost-effective cloud architectures
• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend solutions aligned with enterprise goals
• Migrate legacy systems to cloud-based infrastructure while minimizing disruption
• Integrate cloud platforms with on-premises systems in hybrid environments
• Ensure compliance with cloud security and regulatory standards
• Manage infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform and CloudFormation
• Optimize cloud resources for performance and cost efficiency
• Collaborate with development, security, and operations teams to deliver end-to-end cloud solutions
