About The Position

RiVidium is seeking a Cloud Architect / Modernization to support our planned MODES III team supporting Military Community and Family Policy (MC&FP). This role supports IT, Cybersecurity, and Data Operations - Modernization & Innovation and helps deliver mission-focused outcomes for service members, families, and related stakeholders. Architects enterprise cloud environments under PWS C.5.3.11-C.5.3.13; holds privileged administrative authority over infrastructure resources, directs secure migration strategy, and leads RMF/ATO lifecycle activities (control implementation, eMASS documentation, POA&M management). Ensures 24/7 operational continuity, high availability design, and disaster recovery alignment. This position is contingent upon contract award. Openings may be filled at Mid (5-8 yrs), Senior (10-15 yrs), depending on the specific requisition.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent professional experience
  • Relevant experience aligned to the role and labor category; openings may be filled at Mid (5-8 yrs), Senior (10-15 yrs)
  • Ability to satisfy applicable Government personnel security requirements for the assigned role
  • For IT and cybersecurity workforce positions, applicable DoD 8140 training and certification requirements will apply upon award
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and documentation skills in a mission-focused delivery environment
  • Hands-on experience with tools, platforms, or engineering practices relevant to the role

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with cloud-native engineering, application delivery, automation, or reliability engineering, as applicable to the role
  • Familiarity with secure software delivery, testing, DevSecOps, or performance engineering practices
  • Experience supporting modernization efforts in regulated or mission-critical environments

Responsibilities

  • Architect enterprise cloud environments under PWS C.5.3.11-C.5.3.13
  • Hold privileged administrative authority over infrastructure resources
  • Direct secure migration strategy
  • Lead RMF/ATO lifecycle activities (control implementation, eMASS documentation, POA&M management)
  • Ensure 24/7 operational continuity, high availability design, and disaster recovery alignment
  • Design secure, scalable, and resilient cloud architectures that support mission systems and modernization goals
  • Lead or support migration planning, infrastructure design, and architecture decision-making
  • Coordinate with security, operations, and engineering teams to align architecture to compliance and availability needs
  • Support documentation, recovery planning, and long-term cloud optimization
