About The Position

RiVidium is seeking a Cloud Architect / Modernization Lead to support our planned MODES III team supporting Military Community and Family Policy (MC&FP). This role supports IT, Cybersecurity, and Data Operations - Modernization & Innovation and helps deliver mission-focused outcomes for service members, families, and related stakeholders. Architects enterprise cloud environments under PWS C.5.3.11-C.5.3.13; holds privileged administrative authority over infrastructure resources, directs secure migration strategy, and leads RMF/ATO lifecycle activities (control implementation, eMASS documentation, POA&M management). Ensures 24/7 operational continuity, high availability design, and disaster recovery alignment. This position is contingent upon contract award.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent professional experience.
  • Relevant experience aligned to the role and labor category; openings may be filled at Lead (15+ yrs).
  • Ability to satisfy applicable Government personnel security requirements for the assigned role.
  • For IT and cybersecurity workforce positions, applicable DoD 8140 training and certification requirements will apply upon award.
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and documentation skills in a mission-focused delivery environment.
  • Hands-on experience with tools, platforms, or engineering practices relevant to the role.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with cloud-native engineering, application delivery, automation, or reliability engineering, as applicable to the role.
  • Familiarity with secure software delivery, testing, DevSecOps, or performance engineering practices.
  • Experience supporting modernization efforts in regulated or mission-critical environments.

Responsibilities

  • Design secure, scalable, and resilient cloud architectures that support mission systems and modernization goals.
  • Lead or support migration planning, infrastructure design, and architecture decision-making.
  • Coordinate with security, operations, and engineering teams to align architecture to compliance and availability needs.
  • Support documentation, recovery planning, and long-term cloud optimization.
  • Architects enterprise cloud environments under PWS C.5.3.11-C.5.3.13
  • Holds privileged administrative authority over infrastructure resources
