About The Position

As a Closing Processor at Land Title Guarantee Company, you will be the backbone of real estate transactions, responsible for preparing settlement statements and ensuring clear titles. This fast-paced, detail-oriented role involves ordering title reports, resolving defects, organizing documents, processing financial transactions, and ensuring compliance. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proficient in clear, professional communication and writing skills.
  • Strong computer proficiency and excellent phone communication skills.
  • Ability to obtain a Colorado Notary.

Responsibilities

  • Model the Land Title Guarantee Company values, acting as a trusted coach, mentor, and accountability partner to your peers.
  • Coordinate daily closing activities to exceed customer expectations.
  • Guide clients to their closing rooms and ensure our lobby, closing spaces, and refreshment areas remain welcoming and pristine.
  • Serve as a reliable point of contact, maintaining strong relationships and answering customer inquiries promptly and accurately.
  • Take charge of obtaining clear title by ordering reports, resolving defects, and satisfying existing liens.
  • Keep customers informed and help them navigate any potential roadblocks.
  • Assist in the preparation of preliminary settlement statements and specialized closing documents.
  • Meticulously organize real estate and lender loan documents to ensure a smooth, efficient workflow.
  • Proofread recording documents for typos, missing signatures, or omissions.
  • Record documents with the appropriate state/county agencies and perform notarial duties in strict accordance with National Notary Association Guidelines.
  • Precisely manage deposits, receipts, and cashier's checks.
  • Accurately disburse funds and documents according to instructions from mortgage companies, payoff lenders, and other key parties.
  • Provide administrative assistance, maintain computer-based and paper files, distribute documents, type reports, and manage office supplies.
  • Step outside the office to participate in department marketing activities, which may include representing the company at after-hours industry events and functions.
