Valley Pizza Inc., a Domino's Pizza Franchise with nearly 40 years of local operation, is seeking a Closing Assistant Manager to join their Management Training Program. This role is responsible for overseeing store production and delivery, with the ultimate goal of becoming a Domino's Pizza Store Manager. During training, Assistant Managers in training will support the manager in all store operations according to company policies and standards. The position requires a commitment to completing all training programs, complying with company policies, reporting to work on time in uniform, understanding and enforcing sexual harassment guidelines, and maintaining a valid driver's license, insurance, and a working vehicle for deliveries. The role involves periodic delivery duties and requires maintaining an effective means of contact for quick responses. A willingness to learn and advance in management levels is essential, including attending and completing training classes. The Assistant Manager must be able to resolve conflicts, handle stressful situations, communicate effectively with customers and employees, and manage store operations during peak times. Responsibilities include data entry, accurate order taking, fulfilling service objectives, performing mathematical computations, handling cash and preparing deposits, and moving efficiently within the store. Food preparation includes making pizzas according to standards, using scales for portioning, oven management, and boxing pizzas. The role also involves directing and performing multiple tasks proficiently, maintaining sanitation standards, taking inventory, preparing food items, managing supplies through proper ordering, and lifting/moving items within specified dimensions and weights. The Assistant Manager will also be responsible for printing and analyzing daily computer reports, completing accurate records and bookkeeping procedures, following instructions from management, assisting in training and enforcing safety/security policies, directing daily store operations through leadership, and assisting in supervising production, hiring, training, and scheduling. Other related duties to maintain sanitation, productivity, and profitability are also required, along with compliance with a Nondisclosure/Noncompetition Agreement.
