About The Position

The Infusion Technician is responsible for ensuring the proper glass thickness and glass-to-resin ratio on infused parts such as small parts, lids, consoles, finders, stringers, decks, and hulls. This role also involves ensuring the quality of the finished part and providing leadership for the crew. The technician will distribute properly catalyzed resin evenly into injection ports, help train new team members, and keep the crew focused and motivated. They are responsible for ensuring the crew starts on time at the beginning of the shift, observing and adjusting catalyst levels as environmental conditions require, and performing daily cleaning and minor maintenance of equipment, spray guns, and bags.

Requirements

High School Diploma or Equivalent
Ability to work as a Team
Ability to read and follow written Instruction
Ability to troubleshoot
Coordination simultaneously
Ability to distinguish basic colors/shades
Hearing (aid permitted)
Must have no fiberglass allergies

Responsibilities

Distributes properly catalyzed resin evenly into injection ports.
Helps train new team members as well as helping all team members stay focused and motivated.
Ensures the crew starts up on time at the beginning of the shift.
Observes and adjusts the catalyst level as environmental conditions require.
Performs daily cleaning and minor maintenance routines of equipment, spray guns, and bags.
