About The Position

The ideal candidate is responsible for creating a warm and welcoming first and last impression for guests. This position involves assisting guests with their luggage, escorting them to their rooms, offering hotel information, and ensuring guest satisfaction throughout their stay.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Lifting 50 lbs. maximum with frequent lifting and carrying of objects weighing up to 25 lbs.
• Requires walking or standing to a significant degree
• Requires reaching, handling, feeling, talking, hearing, and seeing

Nice To Haves

• Hospitality training preferred
• Prior experience in guest services or bellman role is a plus
• Knowledge of the local area is beneficial

Responsibilities

• Following all FORBES standards
• Attending the Pre-shift meeting
• Ensuring the Desk is clean and free of clutter
• Logging and delivering packages
• Tagging and delivering luggage
• Logging, delivering, and invoicing group deliveries
• Updating ShiftNote with any pertinent information
• Ensuring bell carts are clean and ready for use
• Maintaining a clean and organized holding room
• Ensuring all radios are charged and ready for the next shift
• Keeping the lobby clean and free of any dirty glasses or trash
