Clinician - CARES School
About The Position
Devereux Massachusetts and Rhode Island is seeking a Clinician for their CARES School in Fitchburg, MA. This therapeutic day school serves individuals aged 6-21 with Autism Spectrum Disorder and/or Intellectual Disability. The Clinician will be responsible for completing Functional Behavior Assessments, Behavior Support Plans, task analyses, discrete trial instruction, individual and group intervention, risk assessment, and consultation to the multi-disciplinary team. The primary clinical treatment model is an Autism-specific model of Positive Behavior Intervention and Supports (A-PBIS) embedded within a trauma-informed care milieu. The average caseload is 10-12 students. The ideal candidate will have training and experience in Applied Behavior Analysis, completing FBA's and BSP's, discrete trial instruction, writing task analyses, and facilitating social skills and activities of daily living groups. This role offers the opportunity to work with dedicated professionals, gain supervised hours towards licensure/certification, access ongoing training, and be part of a stable, national non-profit organization.
Requirements
- Must be 21 years of age
- Valid driver's license required
- Masters Degree in Psychology, Counseling, Applied Behavior Analysis, Social Work or related field required
- Must have relevant behavioral experience
- Must be able to attend a 2-week paid orientation, Monday to Friday, 8AM to 4PM, in Rutland, MA
