About The Position

The Clinician provides recovery-oriented clinical services to individuals served by the Mainstay United residential program. This role involves supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD), including those with a history of sexual offending behavior. The clinician is expected to deliver therapeutic interventions in alignment with person-centered practices and Recovery principles, while contributing to a collaborative, multidisciplinary team environment.

Requirements

A Master’s or Doctorate Degree in psychology, social work, or a related human services field is required.
Adheres to OSHA, HIPAA, and agency safety policies.
Attends and leads required trainings and meetings.
Maintains professional conduct and documentation standards.
Operates in accordance with RHD’s mission, values, and Code of Ethics.
Proficient use of computers, mobile devices, and agency software.
Business use of company equipment, including telephone, and remote work tools.

Responsibilities

The creation and ongoing maintenance of an environment that fosters a functional therapeutic milieu and is conducive to the personal safety, growth, and development of all consumers and staff
The provision of clinical services as part of a specialized and dedicated staff team
Completing clinical risk and needs assessments
Providing home-based and office-based recovery-oriented individual, family, and group therapy for service recipients
Coordination with the residential direct support team to create a therapeutic milieu
Collaboration with other specialized clinical services (e.g., O.T., art therapy)
Completion of documentation meeting clinical and state requirements
All other related duties as assigned.
