About The Position

Riverside's Newton Outpatient Center is seeking a Clinician - All Ages! In this vital role, the Clinician - All Ages will provide direct clinical assessment and clinical intervention for clients of the program of all ages.

Requirements

• Masters Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or Counseling
• Must meet all requirements leading to an active professional license in the individual’s professional discipline, including, but not limited to, continuing education, ethical requirements, etc.
• One year of experience specific to the clinician’s training and expertise
• Basic computer fluency, including Microsoft Office
• Must be able to work as a member of a team and to function independently

• Child and Adolescent Needs and Strengths (CANS) certified

Responsibilities

• Conduct diagnostic evaluations, including developing treatment plan and goals in collaboration with the individual served
• Collaborate with treatment team and other providers to establish treatment plan and disposition
• Provide direct therapeutic intervention
• Maintain regular communication with treatment team and collateral providers/case managers as necessary. This may include attending planning or case management meetings regarding consumers
• Involve families in evaluation, treatment planning, and on-going treatment to the degree agreed upon with the person served
• Provides crisis management for clients on caseload and other outpatient center clients as necessary
