About The Position

Octave is hiring licensed clinicians to provide high-quality behavioral health care within a collaborative, client-centered clinical team. Clinicians treat adult clients experiencing stress, depression, anxiety, and other mental health concerns through short-term, evidence-based therapies. They develop customized treatment plans, build therapeutic alliances, and deliver culturally responsive, feedback-informed care using standardized measures. The role supports a caseload of clients who may be seen virtually or in person. Clinicians may provide virtual sessions from a home office, but in-person sessions must take place in a commercial office setting; Octave does not currently provide office space. Clinical sessions must be conducted while the clinician is physically located in the United States. Candidates must hold a current Virginia license at the master's or doctoral level and be in good standing with their licensing board. The role is listed as a contract position. Compensation is hourly and varies by license level and session format: in-person rates are $93–$143 per hour, and virtual rates are $90–$140 per hour. Octave may use technology, including AI-supported systems, to assist with application review or interview documentation, while hiring decisions remain with the team.
