Clinician - Masters
About The Position
The Center for Human Development (CHD) is seeking a Clinician for their CCN program located in Chicopee, MA. The Clinician will be assigned to the Intensive Treatment Residence (ITR), which will be geared towards latency-age youth. The program will focus on stabilization and treatment foundational in trauma-informed care. The Clinician/Clinical Care Manager provides clinical services within their assigned congregate care setting and supports the philosophical, clinical, and programmatic goals of the agency. The CCM will provide comprehensive services including substance assessment, placement planning, and care coordination, ensuring a supportive and professional environment for assessment, communication, treatment planning, relationship formation, and casework intervention. The CCM will also assist their supervisor in developing and training staff on clinical philosophies, interventions, and treatment modalities, ensuring a strong and effective clinical infrastructure.
Requirements
- Experience with at-risk adolescents
- Familiarity with residential programs
- Master’s degree in social work, counseling, psychology or related clinical field
- Driver's license required
- Have a legally registered & insured car for work use
Responsibilities
- Development and implementation of individual treatment plans/assessments
- Individual and group counseling
- Limited family counseling
- Communication of client information to direct care and other staff
- Liaison with outside agencies, case workers, therapists, etc.
- Management of client casework needs, as required
- Development and coordination of discharge plans, reviews, and reports
- Available as needed for client crisis situations
