Requirements

  • Master’s degree and CA BBS registration (AMFT, ASW, APCC) or license (MFT, LCSW, LPCC) required.
  • Valid CA driver’s license and current auto insurance per contract requirements required.
  • Cultural competency understanding required.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience providing mental health and/or substance use disorder services preferred.
  • Bilingual preferred.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and EHR software preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct services including behavioral health assessments, therapy (couples, individual, and group), case management, care coordination, care plan development, and crisis intervention.
  • Work with an interdisciplinary team to provide wrap around services.
  • Maintain a caseload of clients as assigned by the Lead and Program Manager.
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation and meet the minimum requirements for billable services.
  • Engage in office, telehealth and field-based services, as needed, and when deemed appropriate by the treatment team.
  • Maintain confidentiality of client’s care.
  • Participate in scheduled program meetings.
  • Maintain board registration that is required to bill for services provided to clients.
  • Participate in weekly supervision meetings as assigned by the Clinical Supervisor.
  • Complete regular training, as assigned by the agency, county, or Program Manager.
  • Complete monthly chart audits and assisting clients in transferring to lower or higher levels of care.
  • Other relevant duties as assigned.
