About The Position

At Iris Family Support Center, we are dedicated to strengthening families and supporting children through evidence-based, trauma-informed care. We are seeking a passionate Family Clinician (Therapist) to join our team and provide impactful, goal-oriented services to families in need. This role offers a unique opportunity to work both in-office and in the community, helping families build stability, resilience, and long-term success. Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related field
  • License eligible in Indiana (LMHC, LMFT, LCSW)
  • Ability to obtain associate-level licensure (LMHCA, LMFTA, or LSW) within 6 months
  • Strong clinical assessment and case conceptualization skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Nice To Haves

  • Fully licensed (LMHC, LMFT, LCSW)
  • Experience working with child welfare systems or court-involved families
  • Familiarity with trauma-informed and culturally responsive care

Responsibilities

  • Provide therapeutic services including: Family assessments and intakes, Crisis intervention and safety planning, Treatment planning and goal-focused interventions, Aftercare planning to support long-term success
  • Deliver services in-office, in-home, and in community settings
  • Maintain a caseload focused on non-comprehensive services aligned with DCS standards and court requirements
  • Collaborate with key partners including courts, DCS, probation, foster parents, and CASA/GAL representatives
  • Implement evidence-based practices with fidelity, including: Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Motivational Interviewing, Nurturing Parenting, Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI), Moral Reconation Therapy (MRT), Family Centered Treatment (FCT), Domestic Violence and Batterer’s Intervention models
  • Complete timely and accurate documentation (assessments, progress notes, treatment plans)
  • Track and monitor outcomes to ensure high-quality service delivery
  • Participate in supervision, team meetings, and ongoing professional development
