ABOUT THE ROLE The Clinician Scheduling Coordinator is responsible for supporting Array’s clinical operations by maintaining accurate and efficient clinician schedules across all Array service lines. This role plays a critical part in ensuring clinician availability aligns with patient demand, contractual requirements, and workforce plans. Working closely with Clinician Workforce Analyst, the Clinician Scheduling Coordinator executes workforce scheduling strategies, manages real-time schedule adjustments, and supports data accuracy across scheduling systems. This position requires strong attention to detail, clear communication, and the ability to balance competing priorities in a fast-paced, remote healthcare environment.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 2+ years of experience in telehealth, 24/7, nationwide scheduling, workforce coordination, or clinical operations support.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and scheduling or workforce management systems. (Qgenda & Planbase - Preferred)

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working in a remote or distributed healthcare environment preferred.
  • Experience supporting clinician, provider, or behavioral health schedules strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Build, maintain, and update clinician schedules in alignment with workforce plans, forecasted demand, and contractual coverage requirements.
  • Partner closely with the Clinician Workforce Analyst to operationalize staffing models, coverage strategies, and schedule changes.
  • Execute daily and near-term schedule adjustments related to PTO, call-outs, onboarding, shift swaps, and coverage gaps.
  • Monitor schedules for accuracy, completeness, and coverage risk, proactively identifying and escalating issues as needed.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for clinicians regarding scheduling questions, requests, and changes.
  • Communicate schedule updates clearly and professionally to clinicians and internal stakeholders.
  • Ensure clinicians are scheduled only when fully credentialed, onboarded, and eligible to provide care.
  • Maintain accurate scheduling records within workforce management and scheduling systems.
  • Support reporting, audits, and documentation needs related to clinician scheduling and utilization.
  • Identify scheduling inefficiencies and recommend process improvements to support operational scalability and clinician experience.
  • Performs other duties as needed.
