About The Position

YOU Inc. is seeking an Outpatient Behavioral Health Clinician to provide high-quality, trauma-informed care to individuals, families, and groups in a collaborative, community-based setting. In this role, you’ll support clients facing a range of mental health, substance use, and life challenges, helping them build resilience and achieve meaningful progress. You’ll work as part of a multidisciplinary team dedicated to equity, recovery, and person-centered care.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or related field
  • License-eligible (LICSW, LMHC, LMFT, or Licensed Psychologist)
  • CANS Certification
  • Valid driver’s license (Class C or D)
  • Strong clinical skills in assessment, diagnosis, and therapeutic intervention
  • Knowledge of trauma-informed care and evidence-based practices
  • Ability to manage crisis situations and provide effective intervention
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills
  • Commitment to culturally responsive, person-centered care

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Provide individual, family, and group therapy using evidence-based, trauma-informed approaches.
  • Tailor interventions using strengths-based and culturally responsive practices.
  • Support clients experiencing challenges related to mental health, substance use, and social determinants of health.
  • Coordinate care with internal teams (case managers, peer support) and external partners (schools, primary care, courts).
  • Participate in case consultations and interdisciplinary team meetings.
  • Maintain strong communication with referral sources and stakeholders to ensure continuity of care.
  • Complete all clinical documentation including assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, safety plans, and discharge summaries.
  • Ensure compliance with agency standards, MassHealth requirements, and regulatory guidelines.
  • Participate in audits, reviews, and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Engage in weekly clinical supervision and ongoing training opportunities.
  • Maintain or pursue clinical licensure as applicable.
  • Contribute to agency initiatives focused on trauma-informed care, equity, and staff wellness.
