Behavioral Health Clinician works in coordination with interdisciplinary teams to organize, prepare, and deliver evidence based clinical services in the Child/Adolescent Outpatient department. Clinical services include individual, group and family therapy. This position provides services Monday through Friday, totaling 24 hours/week. Natchaug Hospital is Eastern Connecticut’s leading provider for children, adolescents and adults with mental illness and substance use addictions. We offer a variety of programs including inpatient and outpatient behavioral health, residential treatment for court-involved teenage girls, geriatric services, clinical day treatment schools and chemical dependency services. Through our multi-site network of care, we constantly strive to meet its mission in Helping people find their way while educating and empowering individuals to participate in their own care and recovery. Natchaug's Joshua Center Programs treat children as young as six and as old as 17 who are struggling with psychiatric or substance abuse issues, but do not require inpatient care.
