Psychiatrist / Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist – Inpatient/Residential/PHP/IOP
About The Position
Ally Psychiatry is seeking a compassionate and collaborative Psychiatrist or Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist to join our behavioral health team in Augusta. This full-time position includes responsibilities across inpatient, residential, Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP), and Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) settings serving patients with a broad range of behavioral health needs. The role involves treating adolescents and adults aged 12+ with diverse clinical caseloads including mood and anxiety disorders, ADHD and behavioral disorders, and general psychiatric conditions. The position offers a collaborative multidisciplinary treatment environment, supervision of Nurse Practitioners, participation in treatment team meetings, and a supportive leadership structure with opportunities for professional growth.
Requirements
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry
- Active or eligible for Georgia medical license
- DEA registration or eligibility
- Strong interest in collaborative and team-based care

Responsibilities
- Treat adult patients when needed (for Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist)
- Treat children and adolescents (for Adult Psychiatrist)
- Provide services across inpatient, residential, PHP, and IOP settings
- Serve patients with a broad range of behavioral health needs
- Manage diverse clinical caseloads including mood and anxiety disorders, ADHD and behavioral disorders, and general psychiatric conditions
- Collaborate within a multidisciplinary treatment environment
- Supervise and collaborate with Nurse Practitioners
- Participate in treatment team meetings and care planning
- Participate in call schedule (one night per week, and one weekend per month)
