The Behavioral Health Clinician provides comprehensive behavioral health assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, counseling, crisis intervention, and care coordination for justice-involved adults with substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions participating in the Recovery and Reentry Program. The clinician delivers evidence-based, trauma-informed, person-centered services within correctional facilities and community settings to promote recovery, facilitate successful trauma-informed, person-centered services within correctional facilities and community settings to promote recovery, successful community reintegration, reduce overdose risk, and decrease recidivism. The clinician collaborates closely with correctional staff, medical providers, peer recovery specialists, case managers, probation/parole, and community treatment providers to ensure continuity of care from incarceration through community reentry.
