About The Position

Health Solutions is a premier wellness center focused on whole person care. With over 400 employees in Southern Colorado, you would be joining a mighty team of support and administrative staff, clinicians, physicians, nurses, and others in our efforts to improve the health and wellbeing of our community. Health Solutions is accepting applications for a paid employee internship during the current term. This opportunity is designed for social work students seeking supervised, Clinical field placement experience within a leading behavioral healthcare organization. This placement provides foundational practice experience aligned with Council on Social Work Education (CSWE) competencies and prepares students for entry-level professional roles or continued advanced clinical education.

Requirements

  • Must be enrolled in an accredited Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) degree program (Senior Year) OR the Foundation (Generalist) Year of an MSW program
  • Must be starting your practicum/internship portion of your program.
  • Must be able to commit to a minimum of 16 hours per week for at least one semester (typically two consecutive semesters) to accrue the necessary field hours (minimum 400 total hours)
  • Your school must have an approved Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Health Solutions or be willing to complete one
  • Must have a copy of your school's internship handbook and a clear understanding of the expectations for your program
  • Must already be authorized to work in the US; sponsorships not available.

Responsibilities

  • Conducting initial bio-psycho-social assessments and screenings.
  • Providing client-centered case management and service coordination.
  • Client advocacy, resource linkage, and systems navigation within the community.
  • Participation in interdisciplinary team meetings and clinical reviews.
