About The Position

Endeavors is seeking a dedicated and passionate Clinician who is driven to make a meaningful impact by providing compassionate, trauma-informed care to diverse populations across the community. The Clinician will provide treatment to clients with mental health needs within the Community Behavioral Health Services Department and have training and experience in trauma-focused treatment and evidence-based practices. The Clinician will be proficient in providing individual therapy and have experience with, or the capacity to work with, couples, children, adolescents, and families based on program needs. Responsibilities also include supporting clients through referrals, scheduling, continuity of care, and access to appropriate services. This role may provide services across multiple programs, populations, and funding sources in alignment with organizational needs, client demand, and grant or contract requirements.

Requirements

  • Equivalent to a master's degree in psychology, social work, professional counseling, marriage and family counseling, or a related field from an accredited college or university.
  • Minimum of 2+ years of experience providing counseling services, including graduate-level internship experience, is required.
  • Must hold a current, independent license to practice (LPC, LMFT, or LCSW).
  • Experience working with adults, children, couples, and families is required based on program needs.
  • Knowledge of DSM-5-TR (or latest edition), including PTSD diagnosis and treatment, is required.
  • Must maintain regular and acceptable attendance at such level as is determined in the employer’s sole discretion.
  • Driver’s License with clear record.
  • Have a current independent license to practice counseling. LPC, LCSW, or LMFT required.
  • Must have reliable transportation.
  • Must be willing to travel to various locations as needed to support program operations.
  • Work schedule may include occasional evenings or weekends based on program needs.

Responsibilities

  • Independently assess, evaluate, and provide mental health and/or substance use services, including individual, group, and family counseling and crisis intervention, utilizing culturally responsive, client-centered, and evidenced-based practices.
  • Complete comprehensive mental health and psychosocial assessments, diagnostic evaluations, case conceptualizations, treatment planning, and measurement-based care; conduct ongoing risk assessment and monitoring; maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation in the Electronic Health Record (EHR); and facilitate effective discharge and follow-up planning.
  • Collaborate with clients, caregivers, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams, both within the Behavioral Health Department and in the community, to ensure continuity of care and high-quality service delivery.
  • Maintain a minimum of 65% Direct Client Service Time.
  • May participate in community outreach, including presentations and events, to increase awareness of services and support referral development, as applicable.
  • Attend and actively participate in Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) meetings, clinical consultations, and administrative meetings.
  • Complete all required trainings and maintain clinical competencies in accordance with organizational and professional standards.
