About The Position

Choice Recovery Path (CRP) is seeking a passionate, independently licensed Clinician II to join their growing team in Albuquerque, NM. CRP focuses on empowering individuals on their journey to recovery by providing support, accountability, and compassionate care. This role involves delivering therapeutic interventions to clients with behavioral health diagnoses, including mental health and addiction-related disorders, in various settings (in-office, in the field, and virtually). As part of a multidisciplinary treatment team, the clinician will provide individualized care, assess and diagnose clients, develop treatment plans, monitor progress, collaborate with team members, educate clients and families, and participate in team meetings and training. Requirements

Master’s degree in counseling, social work, clinical psychology, or a closely related field
Current, independent New Mexico licensure in good standing (LPCC, LCSW, LMFT, LPAT, or PhD)
Experience working with individuals living with mental illness, substance use disorders, and/or intellectual disabilities
Solid working knowledge of substance use and psychiatric conditions, treatments, and best practices
Comfort with Microsoft Office and the ability to learn an Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system
Valid New Mexico driver’s license
Ability to become credentialed with payor sources

Nice To Haves

3–5 years of experience in mental health, substance use, or a related field

Responsibilities

Providing individual and group counseling services
Assessing, diagnosing, and developing personalized treatment plans
Monitoring client progress and adjusting care as needed
Collaborating with team members across disciplines to coordinate seamless services
Educating clients and their families about addiction and mental health
Participating actively in treatment team meetings and ongoing training
Maintaining accurate, timely documentation in compliance with federal, state, and local requirements
