As a Prevention Clinician, you will provide six to nine months of intensive services to families whose children are either at risk of being removed from their homes or are already in placement. The goals of the program are to prevent out-of-home placement for children with multiple stressors, provide a safe environment to return children already in placement, and prevent future out-of-home placement. You will report to the Program Coordinator and work within a treatment team, including an Intensive Case Manager and/or a Community Support Worker depending upon the needs of each family. You will work a hybrid schedule with a combination of onsite and remote with travel to clients’ homes required. The work schedule is Monday through Friday with flexible scheduling that includes early evenings, to meet the needs of our client families, and a rotating phone on-call schedule. This is a great opportunity to learn and implement evidence-based practices in trauma- informed care; parent education; child and family well- being; and juvenile justice!
