About The Position

Alaska Behavioral Health provides comprehensive therapy services for adults experiencing mild, moderate, and severe mental illness. Our services include crisis intervention, psychiatric assessment and treatment, case management in conjunction with therapeutic services, individual and group therapy (including cognitive behavioral therapy and dialectical behavior therapy), psycho-social rehabilitation services, peer support, and vocational services.

Requirements

Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or another relevant field (Clinician I)
Experience working with SMI clients (Clinician I)
Master or doctoral degree in Social Work, Psychology, or another relevant field (Clinician II)
Experience working with CMI/SMI clients (Clinician II)

Nice To Haves

Background with substance abuse treatment is preferred (Clinician I)
Background with substance abuse treatment is preferred (Clinician II)

Responsibilities

Provide community-based services to adults experiencing mental illness in Anchorage, Alaska
Work on a multidisciplinary team to provide assessment, treatment planning, psychosocial skills training, individual and group therapy, case management, crisis intervention and other services driven by client need
